Favorite Lip Combo of the Week

Lately I've been wearing Wet N Wild Lipliner in Chesnut with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Pink Pop as my go to lip color. Add a little bit of Korres Blush #22 Purple and simple black eyeliner, and you pretty much have my everyday face. I'll have to post a picture before work sometime this week.

Actually, I have a few things to post about. New favorite cream liner, finally hitting pan on my first item, new foundations i'm trying, plants growing well, etc. Okay...I'll try to be present this week lol

Randomness~

Hey everyone!! Hope everybody is enjoying their St.Patrick's Day so far. I'm seeing a lot of pretty green looks on my blog roll. I'll have to go around later and hopefully leave some comments (trying to get better at going from silent creeper to communicating more).

I'm not doing my makeup today...instead, I'll be getting my green by heading outside and doing some work in my soon to be garden. I'm terrible at growing things but I think this could be fun.....until the temperatures go past 70 degrees >_>

Anyway. I hope everyone has a good day...

Any if anybody has any tips for growing and keeping plants alive, please let me know!

Rock&Republic & Quick Inteview Face

I've really been wanting to try their blushes but I can never seem to catch them in stock or on sale or existing lol.

I did catch the tail end of a Rock & Republic sale on HauteLook not too long again so I bought two things. I got an eyeshadow in Love Rocks and the pressed powder in Cashmere.

Swatch near sunlight
Mmm. I haven't tried them yet. I mainly want to see whats up with the powder. After I had already ordered, I figured that maybe I should've gotten Chenille instead but...It worked fine to set my foundation.

And my look for my interview: (not the greatest pic but all I had~)

I wore:
Graftobian foundation (sheered out with some moisturizer)
Rock&Republic pressed powder in Cashmere
Urban Decay Brow Box in Brown Sugar
MAC Dessert Rose Blush
Lorac Couture Shine gloss in Elite

Eyes were MAC Tempting, Nocturnelle, and Ricepaper eyeshadows with Jane BePure Mineral Gel Liner in black and Covergirl LashBlast Fusion

I believe that is correct...it's been a few days since then.

Anyway, hope everyone is getting off to a great start this week.

P.S. I know it's been said countless times over this weekend, but please keep Japan in your thoughts. I am so very thankful that the people I know are safe, but there are still so many others that can use a prayer or donation (through a place like Red Cross). Just wanted to mention that even as daily life continues on.

NOTW: Essie Sugar Daddy

This picture is with flash, but in natural light/house lights the color is very close to a natural nail color. This color would actually be great for a french manicure.

I spend a lot of time with wet hands, so most nail polishes without a top coat will chip on me the moment I wash my hair (pretty much after one day). My last Essie polish in Nice is Nice (which was also my first) lasted about a week without a top coat and without chipping. I was so pleased!

I like color but because I often chip, I tend to lean more towards neutrals now so Sugar Daddy is perfect for me. It's also harder for me to get bored because I won't sit and look at my nails as much as I would with a bright color.

As a casual nail painter, I'm very happy =]

Waaaaaaaaaah

I have on eyebrows, Lashblast fusion mascara, a hint of Revlon Pink Pop lipgloss, and random brown shadow

NC42 was too light, so I mixed it with something I had that was too dark and it came out okay. As Kendra mentioned in a comment on my last post, it was a bit more red than I expected. But beyond that, I liked everything else about it.

I let my mom decide its fate and she actually liked the mixture so....I guess it gets to stay. I'm so used to mixing my graftobian foundation that I don't really care if I have to alter what I get anymore. As long as it stays on and doesn't oxidize I'm a happy camper.

I guess now all I need is a concealer....

But I'll work on that another day lol

First Casual Meeting With Pro Longwear

I recently decided to buy the MAC Pro Longwear Foundation. I normally steer clear of MAC foundations for two reasons. One, they seem to enjoy oxidizing on me but after reading around, the general consensus seems to be that oxidation isn't much of an issue with this one. Two, I also had an issue with minor breakouts from wearing both powder and liquid foundations from them. However, to be fair, around that time my skin care was also less than stellar so that didn't have too much weight on my decision.

Last time I was matched to a liquid foundation in MAC it was the Select SPF15 foundation and NC44 was the absolute perfect color (pre-oxidation =/). The color choice in the Pro Longwear line seems to be lacking, but it was suggested that I try NC42 and it seems to be a pretty good match looking at the swatch on my face.

I enjoy pumps.

As for a picture with it completely on and such...I can't provide that yet. Currently, I just did a swatch on my jawline because I'm having my senior portraits taken Thursday and didn't want to chance it. Color is good...no color change or anything over there and it's been on for a few hours with no kinds of bumps or anything popping up so I'm going to assume it'll be safe.

So after picture day I'll come back with a FOTD with it.

In other news though:
Finished painting my room! Just need to do some touch ups and then try to find a new desk and bookcase. The color makes me smile so much especially when the sun hits it. Perfect way to start off March!
