Inglot in More Depth...

Well here's my last post of the year!

Both of those swatches are without a primer. I have to say that these eyeshadows are insanely pigmented. They're also pretty easy to work with. I used them in a FOTD tonight and hopefully I'll have a picture to post tomorrow since I'm kind of in a rush.

Before I got those eyeshadows, the only other thing I own that is made by Inglot is their stippling brush. Two actually.

I was looking for an alternative to the MAC 187 brush and ended up stopping into Inglot in NYC and bought two of those. I don't own the 187 to compare it to though. I don't remember how much I paid for this though since I bought it during the summer. I think the price was around $30 though, but don't quote me on that.

When I first got it, for the first few washes it did shed a little bit, but since they I really haven't had any issues with shedding. I use this brush for really pigmented brushes and it serves its purpose well. I also use one for my foundation once in a while and I really like the finish that it produces. Another big plus for me is that it doesn't shed when I'm using it with my liquid, which one of my very first stippling brushes did.

So over all I can say that I have had very pleasant experiences with Inglot and I am glad that I FINALLY got to try out their shadows despite living so close to a store. I'm also glad that they do phone orders because I have a feeling that I might be ordering some more shadows from them in the near future.

Weird Face~

Nails and Eyebrows...

Made a visit to MAC for their eyebrow pencil. I decided that the one I had been using was a tad bit too dark. So..I picked one up in Stud. Was perfect! And since I always feel that some things should come in pairs, I picked up Electric Eel eyeshadow since I normally never buy any blues. I've been on a purple kick for two months now.

NARS Giza Swatch

I hate not updating regularly, but finals are beating me upside my head. I'm finished Friday though and after one more day of work, I'll be home on Sunday.
Since I'm not coming back next semester, I'm also in the process of packing up all of my things to move out.

A part of me really doesn't believe that I finished school a semester early. I don't think it will hit me until everybody is moving back in in January and I'm not....Its so surreal...I still don't know what I want to do with my life!!! Or tomorrow...or even today!

Actually no...Today I want to attempt to deep condition and then twist up my hair..

But you get the point I'm sure....

Anyway, how about a lip swatch of what I think is the most used lipgloss in my FOTDs?

It's Done! It's Beginning! + FOTD

The day of my JLPT has finally come and gone. This year I took N2 and it was absolutely brutal. I knew I wouldn't be ready but...sheesh~. I think I could've done okay on the new N3 level but I always feel as though if I passed the lower level that doesn't exactly tell me how far away I am from passing the higher one. So when I get my grades back in March-ish...I'll know exactly where and how much work I need to put in. Don't get me wrong though...I will be starting soon anyway.

This isn't the last you'll see of me N2!

Now that the test is over....it kicks off my finals! Last day of classes is this week...last final is Dec.17th..

Oh Winter...

Sometimes I feel like there are two kinds of people in the world, ones that love winter or ones that love summer. My boyfriend is a true summer lover. Not only was he born in July, but as soon as the first leaf touches the ground, it's time to break out the gloves and heavy jackets. On the other hand, as long as I can layer to get warm enough, I prefer the winter. Nothing beats snuggling under layers as opposed to sweating your butt off. My personal motto is "You can always add layers to get warm, but if you're hot...once you're naked... it's game over".

Anyhow, as much as I love winter, I'm not a fan of some of the consequences that come along with it. My skin and hair tends to get a lot dryer this time of year. I usually end up having to make sure I switch to heavier creams, adding in some night time care as well. I normally take long hot showers, but during winter I try to limit those as well.  For my hair, more leave in conditioners is a must. It's been a while since I've worn a hat, but this year I'm considering braiding up my hair or something so that I can wear one~. I'm sure that would help. I also end up having to switch to something like Head and Shoulders once in a while when washing my hair.

To be honest, I also tend to stay inside more often to avoid the possibility of being cold. I really am not good at loving winter up close...but seriously...it beats the hot sun hands down!

Bare Minerals Iced Coffee Lipgloss Swatch

Despite having enough lipgloss to last eons, I went and bought another one. This times its Bare Minerals Iced Coffee Lipgloss.

Brush Wand:

I don't really have much to say about it since I just opened it tonight. It has a very sweet smell, reminds me of...mm cupcakes I think. I love brush wands...and maybe this isn't super cool, but the fact that every time I pull the wand out of the tube, it seems like it has a little stopper guy to keep it from getting messy amazes me. The wand always looks clean~!

Maybe I'll wear it tomorrow and see whats up.

Zero Liner~

The Zero part of the double ended liner from my Urban Decay turned out to be my most used black liner these past couple of weeks.

Um. I'm actually kind of sad to see it almost go.

 Time to get a new one I guess.

Never thought I'd like a pencil liner...Let's keep this a secret from my gel liners okay?

Hi There!

Had a pretty craptastic week so I've been laying low. Someone broke into my car so I don't have a window at the moment, second to last Japanese test didn't go well which isn't encouraging since N2 is next week, old phone kicked the bucket but I did manage to get a new one yesterday after being phoneless for a few days...The list is a little longer but...

That week is super over. So, bleh! This week should be good though. I have a feeling that it will be lol.

In other news, I'm absolutely excited! For weeks I've been doing my best to not buy anything and now its paying off! I even skipped on the Sephora Friends&Family! What could make me do such a thing?!

Mm...A light. More specifically, my first studio strobe.

On the plus side, I liked going through what I already have and using things that I barely touch or haven't touched at all. Downside...I do have a list of things I'm possibly curious about but never looked at because I didn't want to buy.

It never ends...lol
