My First Pictorial!

This is my first time doing a pictorial. It's pretty hard for me, because I'm the type to really just make things up on the fly. Whenever I do my eye makeup, if it's not just winged liner, I'm just going along and seeing what happens. This look isn't hard to do at all. So I'll walk you through the pictures and what I used.

First, I primed my eye. For this I used NYX Milk Jumbo Pencil. Next, I mixed some Sugarpill Bulletproof and Poison Plum right above my crease. The I drew a line of Bulletproof and started blending that with Velocity. By the time I added Mochi on my lid and Buttercupcake on the inner corner of my eye, I blended more Bulletproof in my outer V with more Velocity.
Once everything is more or less placed how you want it, it's really just blending and tweaking until it looks how you want. My highlight is Urban Decay ABC Gum. Then I used MAC Blacktrack to line, along with Makeup Forever Kohl in my waterline. I didn't really glue the lashes on..I was only playing around.
That's more or less what goes on in a colorful look for me these days. I look back to when I first started, and I have greatly improved...even though I'm still not anywhere near where I would like to be when it comes to color. But it's always fun to play!

Until Next Time....

First Venture Into Decoden!!!

As a lover of all things cute and pretty....I guess it was only a matter of time before I got into decorating things such as phone cases....Or rather...I've always liked it but I've finally decided to try it myself.

So...I bought a few things and some clear phone cases and got to work!

You can see in the corner my method...I picked out what big pieces I wanted on there and just stuck them down first. I used E-6000 glue to stick all my things on. After I did the big pieces, I went ahead and decided to cover the rest with rhinestones. I figured if I was going to do it.....I should just go all out.

The above is another picture of some of the pieces I got. I also have some crowns, stars, hearts with wings etc. All kinds of cute things.
And that above....is the final result!! Not too shabby for a first try. And now I'm completely addicted and can't wait to do more! I think my next one will definitely have some pink going on in there.

On the flip side....I enjoyed myself so much..I'm thinking about getting some silicone and things to make the kind of ones that look like they have whipped cream...and getting sweets/cake themed cabochons...Wouldn't that be cute?

Other than that...Here's a pretty average FOTD for me:
Using MUFE HD Foundations in 153&173. Kett setting powder. Some MAC Accentuate shaping powder. MAC blush in cantaloupe and my new favorite lipstick ever for a pink MAC Hug Me. Very quick and easy daily look.

That's all for now! Will be back with some updates after my workshop at Makeup Forever tomorrow with Roshar...(so excited!).

Later!

Circle Lens Haul from LensVillage.com

I placed an order from LensVillage.com for the first time at the end of August. They were having a 15% off sale on most GEO lens so I picked up a few pairs. Unfortunately, it's been a bit since I purchased them so I don't remember the details about say, how long shipping took, but I do know that it didn't take an obsessively long time like I had with my last circle lens purchase. These also all came with cases.

So here's what I got:

This time I used Acidberry, 2am, Velocity and also Buttercupcake.

My foundation was the only base I used under it today.

Sugarpill Heart Breaker Look #1

Used the whole Heart Breaker palette with some help from Buttercupcake and Bulletproof

Edit: These shadows really don't read shimmery...Whenever I post directly from my phone, the pictures come out a little wonky and they just float lol =/

In other news, how was everyone's Halloween? I did not participate in any festivities nor did I dress up. I was a true stick in the mud this year. I did get to see a lot of cool costumes though. A few Avatars, some Kittens, couple of devils, etc...

I'm wondering if anyone reading is looking forward to any holiday collections this year or if you've already gotten something, care to share? I'm personally curious about the NARS Pokerface Nail Polish.

Full Face Blues FOTD

For the first time in a while, I did a full face today. I'm sure its been noticed that I am not exactly a foundation wearer. I like the look, I just tend not to do it even if I want to. We're never on the same page...

Anyhow, blue and purples for the day!

trouble starting...

So what did I use?

Face:Graftobian Foundation in Golden Sunset
Cargo bronzer in Dark
LaFemme Blush in Coral Spice

Wet n' Wild eyeshadow in Lagoon is surprising the blue on the lid

Sugarpill Bulletproof eyeshadow

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the Wet n' Wild eyeshadow. It has been a while since I bought one, apparently they've revamped their shadows and now the pigmentation is surprisingly good. I have only recently bought this one shadow though so it's the only one that I can speak for. The base definitely helped, but it did pretty well alone too.

On the other hand, NYX Jumbo Pencils are getting the boot from me. I love them, I really do...but they crease. And I do not love that.

Creases are a BIG no-no.
So, I'm on the hunt for a new base. I'm on the hunt for a lot of things it seems...This is important though. Because as you can see from the picture below, when I looked in the mirror and saw the above, I was NOT amused.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

(Disappearing) Pink and Purple

Stars Makeup Haven Aurora went MIA on me even after all the work I had to do to clean up its fallout >=O. However, I'm glad that MAC Beautiful Iris made it to the party...At least one came =/
I think I'm liking this try more colors thing. It kind of adds to my mood.

Btw, anybody know of a nice pink eyeshadow? I think I'm in the market for one...
